Police Appeal for Witnesses to Pedestrian and Car Collision

Hamilton Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after an early morning collision sent a male pedestrian to the hospital with serious injuries. Anyone with information is urged contact to police.

On Saturday, September 28, 2019, shortly after 4:35 a.m., a 64-year-old male was crossing northbound on Main Street, west of the intersection at Queen Street when he was struck by a vehicle travelling eastbound on Main Street.

The silver BMW sedan remained at the scene and the injured male was transported to the hospital in stable condition with serious injuries. His status has not changed.

The Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the collision and has ruled out alcohol and speed as contributing factors.
