Police Catch Youths Climbing Out Basement Window

Hamilton Police lay charges on two youths caught climbing out of a homeowner's basement window.

On March 4, 2019, shortly after 11:30 a.m. police received a break and enter in progress call in the area of Julian Avenue and Barton Street East in Hamilton.

Witnesses in the area observed two males entering a residence forcefully through the front door of a home on Julian Avenue. Police quickly responded, arriving at the home just in time to see two males escaping through a basement window. The males were arrested and charged with the offence of Break and Enter.

Charged:

  • Male Youth (16-years) Hamilton resident
  • Male Youth (17-years) Hamilton resident
