Police Continue to Investigate Traffic Fatality

Hamilton Police have received new information regarding the pedestrian fatality from Sunday, January 12, 2020.

Through investigation, police have determined the deceased was laying on the road moments before the collision.

Additionally, police have identified two vehicles which were travelling northbound on Upper Wellington Street seconds before the collision. The vehicles, a light-coloured four door sedan and a second light-coloured four door sedan with dark tinted rear windows would have crossed paths with the suspect vehicle.

Police are appealing to the drivers of those vehicles, along with the operator of the suspect vehicle to come forward.

Anyone who was in the area of Upper Wellington and Inverness on Sunday morning shortly before 12: 30 a.m. is asked to check their dashcams and contact police.
