Police Investigate a Double Stabbing on Queenston Road

Hamilton Police responded to a stabbing in the area of 141 Queenston Road (Hwy #8) in Stoney Creek. Two males received stab wounds after an altercation occurred between two youth groups. One adult male and three youths have been identified and charged.

On August 29, 2019, shortly before 10:00 p.m., a group of four males were walking in the area of Queenston Road (Hwy #8) just west of Grays Road in Stoney Creek when an unknown group of males started to antagonize them. The group walking from behind expanded to 20+ people and swarmed the group ahead.

Two males 18 and 19-years-of age received injuries during this altercation. The males were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrived promptly and gathered information about four youths leaving the area in a blue Honda. Police observed a blue 1997 Honda Prelude exit the Fortino's plaza and proceeded eastbound towards Grays Road without headlights. Police conducted a traffic stop and identified evidence inside the vehicle which placed them at the scene of the assault.

The males inside the vehicle were all placed under arrest for assault and transported back to the East End Police Station for processing.
