Police Investigate a Home Invasion on Tuxedo Drive

Police are investigating a home invasion that occurred overnight on Tuxedo Avenue North in Hamilton. A female victim was assaulted and three suspects remain outstanding.

On September 27, 2019, shortly after 2:00 a.m., three males entered forcibly through the front door of a home and demanded money and jewelry. While the home was ransacked the female was forcibly confined and assaulted. Information was provided to police that a handgun was present. The victim received minor injuries. 

The males left the residence in a dark colour vehicle with dark tint and rims. It was last seen driving eastbound on Dunsmure Road before turning southbound onto Kenilworth Avenue north.

Once the males left the residence the female fled the home to a local convenience store and called 911.

Police believe this is targeted.
