Police Investigate Home Invasion

Hamilton Police detectives continue to investigate a central Hamilton home invasion. The victim received minor injuries and is not cooperating with police.

On Monday, March 30, 2020, shortly after 8:30 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to a residence in the area of Main Street East and Holton Avenue South for reports of a robbery. Once on scene, police learned the victim, an adult male, was inside his residence when he answered a knock at the door. Two suspects, a male and female forced their way in, assaulted the victim and obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and two cell phones before fleeing the scene.

The victim received minor injuries but declined medical attention.

Police are unable to confirm if the incident was targeted as the victim is not cooperating.
