Hamilton Police Detectives continue to investigate a robbery at Gage Park involving a group of teens on Monday evening. Witnesses are asked to contact Detective Constable Trevor Bland by calling 905-546-2917.

On Monday, May 27, 2019, shortly before 8:00 p.m., the victim, a 13-year-old male was riding his bicycle through Gage Park near the water fountain when he was approached by a group of youths which included males and females. He was pushed off his bicycle and then assaulted by several people from the group. The youths fled the area with the bicycle ridden by the victim as he contacted 9-1-1.

The victim was transported to the hospital as a precaution and was cleared medically.

Police believe this was a targeted incident and the motive is yet to be established.
