Police Investigate Targeted Home Invasion

Hamilton Police are asking area residents to check their security cameras for suspicious activity after suspects took cash and firearms from a mountain residence during a targeted home invasion

On Monday, January 18, 2021, at approximately 8:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to a residence in the area of Twenty Road East and Greti Drive for a report of a home invasion. Once on scene, officers secured the home and confirmed the suspects had left before their arrival.

The Mountain Division Criminal Investigation Branch has taken over the investigation. Detectives have learned three armed suspects forced entry into the home and stole cash along with several firearms. The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a light coloured sedan.

With the information available at this time, police believe this was a targeted incident. 

Area residents are asked to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity and to contact detectives.

No physical injuries were reported to Hamilton Police.
