Police Look to Identify Hotel Robber

Hamilton Police need your help with a commercial business robbery. Anyone with information about the incident or can identify the suspect is asked to contact investigators.

On Monday, November 30, 2020, shortly after 6:15 p.m., a lone male suspect entered the Days Inn Hotel, located at 210 Main Street East, Hamilton. He approached the front counter and demanded money. At the time, the employee noted the male was in possession of a knife.

The suspect obtained an undisclosed amount of cash and other items as he fled the building. He was last seen leaving the area in a dark coloured vehicle that is believed to have been waiting for his departure.

The employee was not physically injured during the incident.

  • 5’10”-6’0”
  • Thin build
  • Baseball hat with red bill
  • Black jacket
  • Tan/brown pants
  • Black shoes

The Hamilton Police Break Enter and Robbery Unit has taken over the investigation and is seeking assistance with identifying the suspect.
