Police Recover Stolen Property and Drugs at a Grimsby Area Residence

Hamilton Police conducted an investigation of a Grimsby man known to frequent the Hamilton area in relation to local thefts and trafficking drugs. A search warrant was granted and when executed police located stolen property along with crystal meth in the residence. Hamilton Police are now looking to return the property to their owners.

On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, shortly before 11:00 am, Hamilton Police BEAR and East End HEAT units were in the area of Main Street and Arrowhead Lane, Grimsby Ontario, investigating stolen property and drug activity.

As a result of our investigation, Gabe Sciarra, a 38-year-old male, from Grimsby, was arrested while leaving his residence. He was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of drug paraphernalia, related to the sale of drugs inside his vehicle.

The investigation continued and a search warrant was executed on his residence. Police located a large quantity of stolen property including a stolen motorcycle along with drug paraphernalia and crystal meth.

Gabe Sciarra, 37 years, from Grimsby, appeared in court on Thursday, November 22, 2018, to answer to several criminal charges.
