Police Recover Stolen Property During Execution of Search Warrant at Stoney Creek Mountain Residence

On Thursday, March 15, 2018, Hamilton Police responded to reports of a disturbance at an address on Stoney Creek Mountain. Once on scene, police identified a male and he was in arrested for being in possession of stolen property.

A search warrant was executed on the property, and further evidence was found inside the residence linking the man to a Break and Enter that had occurred on Sunday, February 25, 2018, at a DeSantis Homes construction site that is also located on Stoney Creek Mountain.

Further investigation has revealed that 36-year-old Bradley Mark is also responsible for the entry at the DeSantis Homes on Sunday, February 25, 2018. Both Mark and Kergan were identified in part as a result of the surveillance video released to the media by DeSantis Homes.

Michael Kergan, 34 years of Stoney Creek

Charges:

  • Break and Enter Commit
  • Failing to comply with Probation x 3
  • Possession Under $5,000 x 2
  • Possession Over $5,000

Charged:

Bradley Mark, 36 years of Hamilton

Charges:

  • Break and Enter Commit
  • Failing to comply with Probation x 3
  • Possession Under $5,000
