Police Seek Assistance in Identifying Male Involved in Altercation

Hamilton Police are looking to identify a male who was involved in a physical altercation at the Dundas Driving Park yesterday. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.

On Wednesday, March 25, 2020, shortly before 2:00 p.m., Hamilton Police received information that a youth was attempting to enter vehicles in the parking lot of the Dundas Driving Park located at 71 Cross Street, Dundas. A male interjected and physically confronted the youth. After the confrontation, the male left.

When police arrived, the area was clear. A search of the park resulted in police locating a youth matching the description provided. After speaking with the youth, police determined he was in crisis and his attempts to engage with the vehicles were not criminal in nature as he had mistaken them for a family member’s vehicle.

At this time police are looking to identify the male involved in the altercation in order to speak with him.

Hamilton Police have continued investigating the incident and have learned there were several witnesses present. Police are urging them to come forward.
