Police Seek Assistance in Suspicious Vehicle Investigation

Hamilton Police are seeking assistance from the public in identifying a suspicious vehicle that was in the area of Dover Drive and Nash Road South yesterday.

On Tuesday, May 3, 2022 shortly after 8:00 a.m., a male youth, who is 13-years-of-age was approached by a male in his vehicle.

The vehicle pulled over and stopped near the youth. The driver exited his vehicle and spoke directly to the youth in an attempt to entice him into the vehicle. The youth walked away.

The driver got back into his vehicle, drove westbound on Dover Drive then northbound on Nash Road South and was last seen driving westbound on Queenston Road.

No physical contact was initiated during the incident and no one was physically injured.

  • Two-door pickup truck, possibly a GMC
  • Tinted windows
  • Tonneau cover over the truck bed

Suspect

  • Male
  • White
  • Tanned skin
  • 40-50 years-of-age
  • Very short brown hair on the top with grey and white on the sides
  • Black t-shirt with red and green bulls on it
  • Black jacket
  • Black pants
  • Possibly spoke with an accent

Hamilton Police are asking citizens who live in the area of Dover Drive to review any exterior surveillance camera footage for the suspect vehicle described. We are looking between the times of 7:40 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022.
