Seeking Public's Assistance in Identifying Waterdown Stabbing Suspect

Hamilton Police continue to seek the public’s assistance in identifying the individual responsible for stabbing a Waterdown man. The suspect is viewed on the video surveillance, the night the stabbing took place.

On Monday, March 22, 2021, at approximately 9:30 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the intersection of Main Street North and John Street East in Waterdown. Police learned that the victim was walking with his spouse in the area when the suspect approached and stabbed him multiple times. The spouse was knocked to the ground during the incident and received minor injuries.

Through further investigation, Police believe the suspect to be:

  • Male, white
  • Approximately 5’10
  • Slim build
  • Dark hip length jacket with hoodie
  • Tan pants
  • Dark shoes

If members of the public have any information as to the identity or whereabouts of the suspect, they are asked not to approach and to call 9-1-1 immediately.

Police are asking the public to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity by calling 905-546-4925.
