In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 2, 2024, shortly after 12:30 a.m., Hamilton Police were called to the corner of Gage Avenue North and Cannon Street East for a shooting involving multiple victims.  Upon arrival, officers located 3 victims, all suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victims were transported to hospital where they remain in stable condition.

At this time, the police are actively seeking any potential witnesses to this incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.  Investigators are also requesting any residents or business in the immediate neighbourhood to check their security systems for any potential video that may assist the investigation.
