On November 18, 2019, shortly after 9:00 a.m., police responded to shots fired in the area of King Street East and Gage Street North in Hamilton. As a precaution, several schools in the area were placed in to hold and secure for approximately 90 minutes.

Evidence at the scene confirmed shots were fired and no reported injuries. Police believe the interaction was targeted.
