Hamilton Police are seeking witnesses to an overnight shooting in the upper Stoney Creek area.

On March 4, 2019, shortly after 7:00 a.m. a family living in the Glenhollow area of Hamilton awoke to find a second story window broken and a bullet lodged inside the interior drywall. There was also evidence of approximately four bullet holes in the exterior area of the home. There were no injuries to anyone in the family.

After speaking to witnesses, Police were able to confirm that shots were heard in the area sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m.

At this point in the investigation, it is too early to determine the motive for the shooting.
