Hamilton Police arrest a local man in relation to a stabbing incident at 150 Sandford Avenue North.

On Monday, January 15, 2018 shortly after 11:00 p.m. police were on location at 150 Sanford Avenue North responding to an unrelated call. Information was then received regarding a disturbance in the building. Investigation revealed a middle aged Hamilton man had been stabbed in the upper body by a 20 year old male from Hamilton. The accused is currently in police custody.

The victim has been transported to hospital with serious injuries. He is currently in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
