The Division One Criminal Investigations Branch continues to investigate the stabbing of a 39-year-old man, who was found injured in the area of Barton Street East and Kinrade Avenue on Thursday, September 14, 2023. 

Police have been in the area canvassing for surveillance footage and witnesses.

Investigators are appealing to residents of the area bound by Cannon Street East and Barton Street East between Ruth Street and Kinrade Street to check their video footage for Thursday, September 14, 2023 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. 

The victim is described as a white male wearing dark clothing including a dark hooded jacket and had a dark coloured bicycle. There are no suspect descriptors at this time.
