Police Investigate Stolen U-Haul Truck
Hamilton Police Patrol Officers investigate a stolen U-Haul truck and locate several illicit drugs. The occupants of the vehicle have been arrested and held for Bail Court.
On Wednesday, January 10, 2018, shortly after 2:00 a.m., officers conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul rental van at the intersection of Cannon Street West and James Street North in the City of Hamilton. The vehicle was observed driving suspiciously northbound on James Street South . Through investigation, police learned the vehicle had been reported as stolen.
The occupants were placed under arrest and a subsequent search resulted in the seizure of several illicit drugs.
