Suspect to Identify in Point Firearm Robbery

Hamilton Police investigators are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a female suspect involved in an armed robbery at Village Cannabis on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at approximately 7:30 p.m. The incident took place at 275 King Street East in the City of Hamilton.

The unidentified suspect visited Village Cannabis, using a tablet to select products from the menu. During the transaction, as the employee turned away to retrieve the requested items, the suspect revealed a firearm, demanding the products with the statement, "give it to me, give it to me." Fortunately, the suspect was unsuccessful and fled eastbound on King Street East. Thankfully, no physical injuries were sustained during the robbery.

Suspect description is as follows:

·         Female

·         Black

·         Approximately in her 30s

·         Medium to heavy build

·         Eyelash extensions

·         Attire – Black puffy winter jacket and a light-coloured scarf covering her face
