On Tuesday, October 6, 2020, Police were deployed to 105 Eastport Drive, Windermere Basin Park.

Due to found suspected human remains, the office of the Coroner was contacted and has now taken carriage of the investigation.

The park will remain closed for an undetermined period of time.

Approximately one year ago police investigated a similar incident at the same location.

Both incidents are being reviewed to determine if they are connected.
