Two Arrested in Commercial Compound Entry

Hamilton Police have arrested two individuals for a commercial compound entry in Hamilton’s Northend.

On Monday, June 20, shortly after 7:15 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to the area of Sherman Avenue and Biggar Avenue for an entry into a locked commercial compound after two suspects were observed on video by security.

The suspects were confronted by the on-site security guard, eventually resulting in them fleeing the area prior to police arrival.

As officers arrived on scene, a perimeter was set up and with the assistance of the Canine Unit, the suspects were located and arrested without incident.

Michele Wright

  • 55 year-old female
  • Hamilton
  • Break and Enter-Commit
  • Theft under $5000
  • Possession under $5000
  • Fail to Comply with Release Order

Wright had her bail opposed, as there were warrants for Wright with both Hamilton Police and with Halton Regional Police. Hughes was subsequently released on an Undertaking.
