Two Suspects Sought in Fire Investigation

Hamilton police need your help with identifying two males who are believed to be suspects in a car fire investigation. Anyone who may have information is asked to contact detectives.

On Sunday, August 20, 2020, shortly after 8:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded for a car fire at 1565 Barton Street East. The vehicle, a 2011 Ford Escape SUV was destroyed by the fire which was extinguished. After speaking with witnesses, detectives from the BEAR Unit are looking to identify two males who are believed to have been involved.

  • Male
  • Caucasian
  • 30-40–years-of-age
  • Mustache/goatee
  • Light brown hair
  • Blue t-shirt ‘I am Canadian’
  • Black Helmet
  • Beige Shorts
  • White socks
  • Black/white sneakers

SUSPECT# 2

  • Male
  • Caucasian
  • 30-40–years-of-age
  • Heavy build
  • Dark brown hair
  • Brown beard
  • Green/black checkered button-up shirt
  • Dark pants
  • Brown boots

The vehicle was reported stolen to police a day after the fire.
