Police Assist Provincial Animal Welfare Services After Investigation Launched

On Saturday, July 8, 2023 ,  Hamilton Police provided assistance to animal welfare inspectors from P.A.W.S (Provincial Animal Welfare Services) during a residential search warrant.  The P.A.W.S. investigators were able to locate and remove a dog without incident in regards to an on-going investigation in Dundas which was reported on Friday, June 30, 2023.  The dog has been taken into the care of animal welfare services at this time.

The investigation remains ongoing and under the jurisdiction of P.A.W.S.
