On June 13, 2018, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a fatal collision occurred in the area of Queenston Road and Beland Court, Hamilton, Ontario. As a result of the collision Warren LEWIS and Ahmad Sorosh DURANI were charged with driving offences.

On Friday, July 20, 2018, Warren Lewis  appeared in bail court and was released on a recognizance with a surety. The charges against both drivers were relayed as the following.

WARREN LEWIS: Criminal Negligence causing Death, Impaired Causing Death and Breach of Probation

AHMAD SOROSH DURANI: Criminal Negligence causing Death, Fail to remain

The next court appearance is scheduled for August 13, 2018, to set a date for trial.
