On Friday, November 10, 2023 at 8:51 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot at 640 Queenston Road, Hamilton.  A 22-year old Hamilton male was located in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to hospital and now has life-altering injuries. 

Witnesses of the shooting observed a 4-door black sedan with a spoiler on the back flee the scene of the shooting westbound on Queenston Road.  That vehicle was later recovered by police in the north end of Hamilton on fire.

During this ongoing attempt murder investigation, police located evidence of a conspiracy to murder a person unrelated to the initial shooting. As a result, Kamaldeep Dhaliwal of Hamilton has now been arrested and charged with Conspiracy to Commit Murder. 

This investigation is ongoing with efforts to identify the other co-conspirators in this plot to commit murder.  The number of co-conspirators and the nature of the evidence leading to this arrest will not be disclosed at this time as the investigation is ongoing.
