On Saturday, July 23, 2022 at approximately 1:30 a.m., a male riding an electric kick scooter was struck by Honda Civic motor a vehicle travelling northbound on Upper Kenilworth Av near Landron Av. The 20-year-old operator of the Honda stopped his vehicle and contacted 911.  

The operator of the scooter sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital by Paramedics.   He has now been identified.

Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit  is conducting the investigation.
