Hamilton Police continue to investigate  a serious motor vehicle collision in the downtown core which sent two to hospital overnight.

Hamilton Police were called to the intersection of Barton Street West and MacNab Street North shortly after 9:00 pm on the evening of Tuesday, April 25, 2023. As a result of this collision two individuals were transported to hospital in critical condition.

A 73-year-old man has since been pronounced deceased in hospital. One 45-year-old man remains in hospital in critical but stable condition.
