The Hamilton Police Collision Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the fatal pedestrian collision in the northbound lanes of the RHVP on November 28, 2023.

The pedestrian has been positively identified as a 35-year-old male from the Waterloo Region.

The investigation confirmed that the male pedestrian stole the abandoned Honda motor vehicle located near the scene from Kitchener earlier in the evening and that it ran out of gas.
