UPDATE: Outstanding Male Identified from Brigade Home Invasion

Hamilton Police have identified the outstanding male involved in a Mountain Home Invasion from August 28, 2019. The 20-year-old male was arrested and brought into custody on November 13, 2019, with his bail opposed.

On August 28, 2019, shortly before 11:00 a.m., police responded to a 911 call from a resident on Brigade Drive in Hamilton. The victim indicated there were two unknown males inside the home and feared for their safety.

Police arrived and arrested one male on the scene but the second armed male escaped. A local school was placed into a hold and secure at the time.

On November 13, 2019, shortly after 4:00 p.m., Hamilton Police located the outstanding male suspect getting into a vehicle near his residence in Grimsby and placed him under arrest. The weapon was not recovered.

Charged: Mason HOOD (20-years-old) of Grimsby Ontario

Charges:

  • Break Enter Commit Robbery
  • Use Imitation Firearm Commission of Offence
  • Fail to Comply with Undertaking
