On April 7, 2020, shortly after 9:00 p.m., a 64-year-old female from Hamilton was crossing in the area of King Street East and James Street North when she was fatally struck by a pick-up truck travelling westbound.

The Collision Reconstruction Unit has completed its investigation and concluded there will be no charges laid against the involved driver.
