The Collision Reconstruction Unit has concluded its investigation into Hamilton's third driving fatality of 2020.

On Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 12:15 p.m. the Hamilton Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit attended a single motor vehicle collision on Miles Road near English Church Road. A 28-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a metal guard rail on Miles Road south of English Church Road that resulted in fatal injuries.

The investigation has determined that speed and impairment were contributing factors in the collision.
