Upper Centennial Parkway Fatality

Hamilton Police is investigating the eighth driving fatality for 2019.

On November 21, 2019, shortly before 5:30 p.m., a collision occurred between two vehicles within the intersection of Upper Centennial Parkway and Highland Road in Hamilton.

A 55-year-old male of Canfield was driving a GMC SUV and conducting a left turn onto Highland Road when he was struck by a Ford pick-up truck travelling southbound on Upper Centennial Parkway. The driver of the GMC was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries but unfortunately, succumb to his injuries. The 50-year-old pick-up truck driver from Cayuga was seen by paramedics and declined medical attention.

Police have not ruled out speed or alcohol at this time and continue to investigate.
