Upper James Road Rage Incident

Hamilton Police investigate a road rage incident on the Hamilton Mountain which may have led to shots fired. Police would like to locate the outstanding vehicle and its occupants for questioning.

Shortly, after 6:45 p.m., on January 8, 2020, a vehicle travelling southbound on Upper James was approaching Rymal Road when a black Cadillac Escalade pulled out of the Husky Gas Station lot nearly causing a collision. The two vehicles continued southbound on Upper James while the drivers engaging in a verbal altercation. When both vehicles came to a stopped at the intersection of Upper James and Twenty Road, the victim heard multiple bangs and believes shots were fired from the Escalade. There were no injuries to the driver or damage to his vehicle.

The Cadillac Escalade was last seen speeding off southbound on Upper James.

  • Driver: Male, white (22-28-years-old), wearing a baseball hat
  • Passenger: Female, white, blonde hair in a bun

  • Black Cadillac Escalade (newer model)
