WANTED: Female in Serial Thefts

The Hamilton Police Service is actively investigating a series of thefts that have occurred throughout the City of Hamilton and looking to locate the female involved.

Police have reason to believe that between April 5 to April 18, 2019, Melanie Beskorowany purposely entered Hamilton Health Science buildings, recreational facilities and retirement residences throughout Hamilton which time she stole laptops, cell phones, purses, wallets, credit cards, money and car keys from secured lockers. In some incidents, vehicles were subsequently stolen as well. She managed to walk in and out of the premises undetected, making no attempts to conceal herself.

In partnership with the community and neighbouring agencies, police were able to identify Melanie Beskorowany as being the individual. She is currently wanted by Hamilton Police Service and neighbouring agencies for related offences.

Police continue to investigate and are actively looking for Melanie Beskorowany and request public assistance in attempting to locate her whereabouts.
