Wanted Male Arrested in Proactive Traffic Stop

A proactive traffic stop in the east end of Hamilton resulted in the arrest of the vehicle’s occupants. A Hamilton man and woman will appear in court today to answer to several charges.

On Friday, December 28, 2018, shortly before 2:00 a.m., Hamilton Police officers were on proactive patrol when a grey coloured Honda Odyssey Minivan was observed travelling eastbound on Barton Street East near Kenora Avenue. Additionally, the status of the driver’s licence was suspended. During the interaction, police determined the vehicle’s occupants were both under court conditions in relation to Probation and Recognizance Orders. The driver, a 39 –year-old Hamilton man was arrested in relation to the outstanding warrant. The passenger, a 42- year-old Hamilton woman was arrested for violating her release conditions.
