Wrestling Coach Charged with Sexual Assault

Hamilton Police arrested and charged a Hamilton man for sexual assault following an investigation after a woman came forward to report the incidents. Police believe there are more victims.

On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, a 47-year-old Hamilton man was arrested for two counts of Sexual Assault in relation to offences which occurred between 2009-2014.

The adult female victim met the accused at McMaster University where he served as an assistant wrestling coach.

Police believe there are other victims who have yet to come forward and encourage them to contact Detective Jennifer Currie at (905) 546-8958.
