On September 15, 2018, shortly after 3:30 p.m., a serious motor vehicle collision occurred on Nebo Rd. north of Dickenson Rd. in Hamilton. A northbound Ford motor vehicle, which was being driven by a 17-year-old Hamilton male, attempted to pass another motor vehicle by entering into the oncoming lane. A southbound Honda motor vehicle operated by a 29-year-old Hamilton woman with her two young children (2-year-old and 3-week-old) was struck by the Ford vehicle. All involved were transported to the hospital, including the 17-year-old male driver and his 18-year-old male passenger. All occupants involved in this collision sustained serious injuries.

The 17-year-old male driver was arrested and will be facing four counts of Dangerous Driving causing Bodily Harm. As the accused is a young person, his name will not be released.
