Hamilton Police Reconstruction Unit continues to investigate the reason for an early morning fatality involving two vehicles travelling on the South Service Road in Hamilton.

On Tuesday, July 30, 2019, shortly before 7 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving two motor vehicles on South Service Road at Green Road, Hamilton.

A dark coloured 2016 Nissan sedan was travelling eastbound on the South Service Road towards Green Road when it struck a grey Fiat vehicle from behind. This collision caused the lone 60-year-old Hamilton male to be ejected from the Fiat vehicle causing fatal injuries. The 32-year-old Hamilton man driving the Nissan vehicle sustained minor injuries.
