Hamilton Police Investigating Possible Abduction

Hamilton Police are investigating a missing person in which foul play is believed to be involved. Ling Jie Huang, 18-years-old, is a Chinese citizen who has recently begun her studies at McMaster University.

Huang is of Chinese descent, 5'5, 140 lbs, with dark auburn hair.

She was last seen leaving her residence near the Meadowlands in Ancaster on Sunday, September 29, 2019.

She has reportedly made some acquaintances in the Hamilton and Toronto/York area but as she is so new to Canada, these people remain unknown at this time. Her family in China are aware that she is missing.

Hamilton Police have information that indicates Huang's safety may be at risk. Police are not releasing the details at this time.
