Hamilton Police Major Crime Investigate Suspicious Death

Hamilton Police are encouraging the public to check any video surveillance near Hamilton's Juravinski Hospital after a 24-year-old male died after being dropped off at the hospital early this morning. 

On February 1, 2020, just shortly after 2:30 a.m., a male in his 20s with serious injuries.was dropped off at the Juravinski Hospital by an unknown vehicle. Medical Staff were advised by a witness that this male was near the emergency entrance and required help. Medical staff responded and attempted life-saving measures on the victim, however, he was later pronounced deceased at the hospital. Hamilton Police were then contacted and responded shortly after. 

At this time, the Hamilton Police Major Crime Unit is investigating this incident as a criminally suspicious death. More information will be gleaned from the autopsy, which is scheduled for tomorrow morning at the Hamilton General Hospital.

The victim has been identified as 24-year-old Kyle John Richardson (Adams) of Hamilton.

Police are seeking assistance from the public on where Kyle was last night and who Kyle may have been associating with. Investigators continue to search for the location where Kyle sustained his injuries.
