Hamilton Police Make Arrests in 2022 Homicide Case

Hamilton Police have arrested and charged two males in connection with the death of Shane Grenier earlier this year.

On Sunday, March 6, 2022, shortly before 6:00 p.m., Hamilton Police were called to the area of Tisdale Street South and Erie Avenue after reports of a male victim thrown from a black BMW.

He was lying on the road suffering from a gunshot wound.

The male was later identified as 39-year-old Shane Grenier of Hamilton.

Today, the Hamilton Police announce the following arrests:

Owen Nathaniel Silverthorne (21-years-of-age, Hamilton)

·         Second Degree Murder

Janeil Gordon (21-years-of-age, Hamilton)

·         Second Degree Murder

Both Silverthorne and Gordon have been remanded into custody.

Now that the charges are before the courts, investigators will not discuss evidence as it pertains to the case.
