HPS Looking for Person of Interest in Homicide Investigation

Hamilton Police Major Crime Unit is searching for a person of interest from a homicide last summer.

On Sunday, September 23, 2018, just after 4:00 a.m., 19-year-old Natshon Defreitas was shot and killed at an after-hours party held at 470 Beach Rd. in Hamilton. Detectives from the Major Crime unit continue to investigate and are requesting the assistance of the public to help identify a person of interest.

Police are looking to speak with the male pictured in the photos. While it is unclear to investigators whether this individual played a role in Defreitas’ death, detectives are interested in speaking with him.

The images were captured hours before the murder from Modrn Nightclub in the Hess St. entertainment district.
