Mini Cooper Driver Still Outstanding after a Serious Collision

Police continue to look for the driver of a  serious motor vehicle collision in the area of King Street West and Hess Street in Hamilton.

On September 5, 2018, shortly after 5:30 a.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred at King Street West at Hess Street North in the City of Hamilton. A 33-year old Hamilton male was crossing King Street West when he was struck by a Mini brand motor vehicle. The driver stopped his vehicle but left the area on foot. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital and remains in stable but serious condition.

The driver of the 2003 blue Mini Cooper vehicle has been described as a 30-year black male with short hair. Police would encourage the driver to contact police.

Due to the injuries sustained by the pedestrian, the Collision Reconstruction Unit has taken carriage of the investigation. Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to police are asked to call (905) 546-4753 or (905) 546-4755.
