Pedestrian Suffers Serious Life Threatening Injury

Hamilton Police are investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a motor vehicle.

On Sunday, April 25, 2021, shortly before 9 p.m., a 15-year-old Hamilton female was on a skateboard on Old Mohawk Road in the City of Hamilton when she was struck by a 2008 Honda motor vehicle being operated by a 21-year-old Hamilton man. The driver remained at the scene and tended to the female until Hamilton Emergency Services arrived. The female was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries where she remains in critical but stable condition.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the HPS Collision Reconstruction Unit was called in and has taken carriage of the investigation. Witnesses who have not spoken to police are asked to contact the Collision Reconstruction Unit at 905-546-4753 or 905-546-4755.
