The Hamilton Police responded to an Assist Fire call at 104 Beach Rd. Smoke was seen coming from an apartment window of the multi-unit residential building.

A female and two dogs were pulled from the residence. The female was transported to the Hamilton General Hospital VSA and has since been pronounced. Her identity has not been confirmed. CPR was performed on the dogs and they did not survive.
