The investigation into the discovery of bones in an Ancaster industrial area continues.

The area involved is located south of Wilson Street West and Garner Road and has been secured by police since last Wednesday. This morning, members of the Hamilton Police Service will be searching the area looking for additional evidence.

Detectives from the Criminal Investigation Branch continue to lead the investigation and are waiting for the results from the examination of the recovered bones.

Police anticipate maintaining a presence in the area today and if required throughout the weekend.
