Police Seek Assistance with Identifying Sexual Assault Suspect

Hamilton Police are asking anyone with information or who may have witnessed a sexual assault at Hampton Park over the weekend to come forward.

On Sunday, June 28, 2020, shortly after 3:30 p.m., a mother and her four-year-old daughter visited Hampton Park located in the area of Lupin Avenue and East 44th Street, Hamilton. Moments later, they were approached by an unknown male who initiated a conversation with the mother. The male put his arm around her and attempted to kiss her. He then picked the child up and made comments about liking women with children. The mother retrieved her daughter who was not physically harmed. The male then walked away. At the time of the incident, there were several other people in the park.

Hamilton Police are appealing to anyone with information about this incident to contact police.

  • Male
  • Medium complexion,
  • Mid 20’s,
  • 5’9”
  • Slim build
  • Short black hair
  • Thin beard from ear to ear
  • Cargo shorts
  • Running shoes.
