Prescription Drugs Taken During Armed Robbery

Hamilton Police responded to a Shoppers Drug Mart for an armed robbery in progress shortly after 9:00 p.m. on January 15, 2019. Three male suspects with their faces covered entered the store and demanded cash and prescription drugs. The suspects are still outstanding.

On January 15, 2019, shortly after 9:00 p.m., Hamilton Police responded to an armed robbery at the Shoppers Drug Mart on 953 Fennell Avenue East, Hamilton. Three masked suspects entered the store and brandished a gun, telling employees it’s a robbery. The suspects demanded cash and prescription drugs and then left in a vehicle. No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect vehicle and firearm were recovered in the Stoney Creek area with the help of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Niagara Regional Police.

The three suspects remain outstanding.
